Organic meadows

The weather is changeable this week, but farmers welcome the sun and rain in equal measure. It all enables our lush green organic meadowland to grow and flourish. The bright summer colours of buttercups and clover are pretty as a picture. Somerset is truly the land of the Summer people.

Jubilee celebrations

What a great weekend ahead. Lots of lovely campers booked in to celebrate the Bank Holiday and Jubilee at Garslade. We’ve been busy making bunting to decorate the village. Many fun events planned in nearby Glastonbury and Wells, as well as a beacon lighting here in Godney. We will raise a glass to celebrate.

Wildlife on the levels
